Why Prosperity? with David Hadley

By David Hadley

A new feature we're starting this week kicks off with our very own VouchedFor Top Rated Adviser 2021, David Hadley. We'll be asking these questions to a number of advisers over the coming weeks, so keep your eyes peeled!

What is the best part of your job?

I like knowing I’ve made a difference & helped people with their plans – especially educating them; helping them realise what they have and what their options are.

I brand myself as a ‘jargon free’ adviser, explaining everything in plain language – it great when you see people feel more at ease when you’ve helped them understand something that was complicated and a mystery before they spoke to me!

What made you choose Prosperity Wealth?

I’ve always had a soft spot for Prosperity, having dealt with the firm as a provider in the past. I think the ethos and values throughout the firm are fantastic – value led, truly independent and putting the clients’ needs first.

It’s exactly why I have recommended Prosperity to people in the past (before working with firm as an Adviser in my own right), including trusting them with my own Father!

The values of the firm, as well as the flexibility, the support provided & the wealth of knowledge available from fellow advisers – made it a ‘no brainer’ for me to make the jump, get qualified as an adviser and become a part of Prosperity myself!

What are your aspirations for the future?

The future for my life at Prosperity is all about taking control of the work life balance (especially having become a father for the first time this year!). I’ve set myself goals for the next 3-5 as well as 10 years – all centred around building a quality client portfolio to help me provide me & my family with great opportunities.

I also aspire to become more involved with helping the success of the firm too, not just my own portfolio, as well as being able to pay it forward and pass what I learn over the coming years to future Prosperity independent financial advisors too…

We'll be asking these questions to a number of advisers over the coming weeks, so keep your eyes peeled!
