Jonathan Darley is a Chartered Financial Planner and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society (FPFS). This makes Jonathan one of the most highly qualified Financial Planners in the country.
Having qualified as a Financial Adviser in 2009, he has worked for a variety of companies including HSBC, Mitten Clarke Chartered Accountants and Gemini Wealth Management.
Jonathan has a strong background in pensions as well as all other areas of personal and business financial planning. He holds the certification requirements to advise on Pension Transfers and is regarded as a Pension Transfer Specialist at Prosperity Wealth. He advises on all private final salary and defined benefit pensions, as well as Government pension schemes, which include NHS, Teachers and Local Government pension plans.
Jonathan has a keen interest in providing advice in diverse areas such as long-term care, whether that’s guidance on Equity Release Mortgages or long-term care funding. He also works closely with local accountants and solicitors, providing guidance on pensions, divorce and business financial planning issues.
Jonathan also takes a keen interest in investment markets and is a member of the Prosperity Wealth Investment Committee. He helps formulate investment policy for Prosperity Wealth clients, so they can feel confident that sufficient due diligence has been undertaken when making investment decisions.
Jonathan is married to Sarah, a General Practitioner, and has two children.. He spends time helping in the local community and takes part in charitable fundraising events. Jonathan prides himself on being ethically-driven and client centric. Making clients happy and giving them peace of mind when making financial decisions is his major priority.
Jonathan chose to work for an Independent financial advisory firm in Prosperity Wealth as it allows him to be the adviser he wants to be without being pressurised to have targets of selling. Jonathan firmly believes that sales targets create poor customer outcomes. Jonathan prides himself on making financial advice simple, transparent, and informative.
