Good luck rowing across the Atlantic!

By Nick Adamthwaite

As we break up for Christmas, we’d like to wish the best of luck to Ewan, Ed, James and Jon in their attempt to row from one side of the Atlantic to the other.

The chaps began the Talisker Whisky Challenge on the 12th of December. They set out from La Gomera in the Canary Islands, and hope to complete the mammoth 3,000 miles across the Ocean to the finishing point in Antigua - all in less than 40 days.

So difficult is the task, that more people have been into space or climbed Everest than have rowed the Atlantic.

If you want to find out a little more about the challenge, check out the link below. You’ll also be able to contribute to the great cause that has inspired the gents to take on this feat - fighting the plastic pollution within our planet’s oceans.
